M.2

M.2, pronouned M dot 2, is a compact interface for connecting high-speed storage devices. M.2 succeeded the mSATA standard as a more efficient and faster solution.

SATA

SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) is an interface used to connect hard drives, SSDs, and other storage devices to a motherboard, widely available since the early 2000s. It is gradually being replaced by the newer NVMe interface.

NVMe

NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) is a high-performance storage interface protocol designed specifically for solid-state drives (SSDs), enabling faster data transfer compared to older standards like SATA.

DHCP

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a network management protocol used to automatically assign IP addresses and other network configuration parameters to devices on a network, simplifying the process of connecting new devices to the network.

LAN

LAN (Local Area Network) is a network of interconnected computers and devices within a limited area, like a home, school, or office building, used for sharing resources and communication.
